The new, modern Centre for Health Solutions – Kenya (CHS) office on the 4th Floor of CVS Plaza was officially opened on June 4, 2014 at a short ceremony attended by the CHS Board Chairman Dr Kishorchandra Mandaliya, CHS management, staff, and contractors charged with developing the new office.
CHS has recorded steady growth in its program portfolio, most recently with the Tuberculosis Accelerated Response and Care (TB ARC) activity. This has translated into increased human resource, hence the need for additional space to accommodate the growing team. The new office now hosts the main reception, the Chief Executive Officer’s office, the Finance and Administration team as well as the Grants Development and Communications team. The program team continues to be hosted on the 5th Floor of CVS Plaza.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Mandaliya noted that CHS’s performance was commendable and the opening of the new office was a sign of continued commitment to growth. CHS Chief Executive Officer Dr Paul Wekesa thanked staff members for their contribution to the organisation’s growth and called on them to keep up the good work.
Dr Wekesa emphasised that the organisation’s achievements stem from team efforts, hence the need for each member to play their role in the realisation of CHS objectives.
